Jamming out to Bob Seger as the plane touched down in Nepal’s capital city may be a little gauche. One listen to that song though and it was stuck on repeat in my head. Earworm or not though, it’s a pretty dumb song. But so began a nice long all-inclusive tour through Nepal after our wedding in Chennai.
Deciding on a comfortable honeymoon destination that neither of us had visited before proved to be a bit challenging. After considering a couple options, Nepal seemed to be our best choice. In hindsight, the destination was also a coherent addendum to a traditional Hindu wedding. There are some temple destinations in Nepal that are particularly meaningful to Hindu newlyweds.
