Sri Manakula Vinayagar Temple in Pondicherry. Located walking distance from the Auroville temple, which was packed with foreign visitors and had a decidedly more cultlike feel, this temple was locals only when I visited. Dedicated to Lord Ganesha, I just so happened to visit at a time when I had a few "obstacles" that needed removing.
