Unfortunately Botswana didn’t prove to be our favorite stop. Kasane is a small spartan tourist trap of a town that runs along the Kwando River bordering Chobe National Park. Overpriced lodges line the river, taking boats & safari vehicles packed with tourists into the park. The area actually borders Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, making for one of the easiest locations to quickly visit several countries in Africa. While Botswana wasn’t the highlight of our trip altogether, I’ve gotta admit that Chobe National Park proved to have some of the most straightforward and plentiful game drive locations. See what you think below, but these were among the best wildlife photos of the trip.
